This cold room, spearheaded by BRD's cold storage division, ARTECO, is a key component of the food service infrastructure within the expansive 30-hectare BIEL Crystal manufacturing base, a USD 260 million investment located in the An Phat 1 Industrial Park.
The newly constructed cold storage facility is engineered to maintain a consistent temperature of -25°C, providing optimal conditions for the preservation of frozen meat, seafood, and other perishable ingredients essential for daily staff meals. With a rich history spanning over 30 years, BIEL Crystal stands as a global leader in high-precision components for smart devices, AR/VR equipment, wearables, and the automotive sector.
To meet the stringent demands of food preservation and energy efficiency, the project incorporates 100mm thick PU-insulated cold room panels, ensuring superior thermal insulation and long-term durability. The refrigeration system is powered by Bitzer compressor water-cooled condensing units, a trusted choice known for their stable performance, energy efficiency, and reliability in low-temperature applications.
